Meet future classmates and friends on the AU Class of 2013

It's Summer Time .....any special plans???

SO does anyone have a lovely summer job? Or planning on visiting a tropical island? Or anyone just planning on sleeping in and chilling all summer long?

I just wanted to see what all goes down during the short (almost) 3 months of summer break we all have! I thought it might be interesting to see what we all might be doing (or what we might not be doing...) before we head to AU.

For myself....I work all summer long..
My family owns a homemade ice cream business, and we run it during the summer...smart choice of season eh? I have never gone a vacation with my family during the summer. I have a job at the local...Y M C A. <--This is loads of fun.
I also am currently babysitting. I try to have fun. ;)

SO...... how fun is your summer gonna be?

then i may be staying with another friend for a weekend. or something.
then in july i think im heading off to Warped and all that goodness that comes with it.

Its crazy because its been a year and there is still so much damage. So Keep the people of Iowa in your prayers. It was great for us who went to because it gave us the chance to build up our relationship with God. A relationship i will strive to build up at Anderson too.; ▶ Reply to This

I'm also heading off to myrtle beach in a week with my family, and then young life the week after that. I'm also playing summer baseball. Well, you already know this, but I'll put it up here for everyone else :)

This is my first summer without summer band, so I'm a little lost. :( but.....

I am working through my church to serve free summer lunches to underprivileged kids in my town who wouldn't get to eat lunch because they normally get their free lunch at school. So I not only get paid, but I get to help others, too! Pretty amazing!; ▶ Reply to This
