so being from california what do i need to excpect from indiana?

so i realized that indiana and california is completly different. After all i didnt even know what euche was. However i found out it was a card game...so im a lil caught up. lol So i need to know what else there is to do or games made up. I realized that california is so not indiana and its definetly gonna be a change. So if u can give me some hints and any advice that would be cool.

Haha its pretty sweet seeing a few cali ppl, being from nor cal and all. But when i went out there i noticed how clean everything was lol, especially indianapolis.

hey! so i heard about this girl that went to AU from California, and she didnt bring any winter clothes at all! So make sure you bring reeeaallly warm clothes, because you'll prolly get even colder than we do here since you arent used to it lol. and where i'm from, everybody knows everybody, so if you see me walkin around campus make sure you say hi! and i'll try to do the same! and hey, if you ever need anything pleease dont hesitate to ask me! i'm sure it will be tough to be so far away from your family... so we can be like your family away from home. :-)

I had a friend who used to live out west and he said the biggest differences, besides our insainly fun, yet confusing card games, is the people. he said folks out west keep to themselves more. He said what he loved about indiana is how everyone treats u like more then a neighbor, ur like family! So welcome to Indiana!! and o yea be carefull who your rooting for come March Madness!! Bball is prty hardcore around here!

first off bball is a whole new experience in indiana second cause ur from cali ur prob a raiders or chargers fan which means on sunday's ur not liked very well especially if the colts are playin ur team and racing Indiana is the place to be for any racing event.

As far as the Amish comment, we don't have Amish in Anderson, or at least not that I've seen. Animals, yes.

Weather. Not just the variation, but the unpredictability. There is never a 100% chance of anything. The weathermen are only right about half the time. Hoodies generally cover all bases for the weather. If its too hot, take it off and you're good to go. Bring a coat out here, but the hoodie works for about half the year. The winters vary. Some years the winter snows tons, others it stays relatively mild. If you can find a Farmer's Almanac, they're more accurate than the weathermen.

Hobbies. Yes, we have some weird games but they're not all that difficult to learn. We're also more than willing to learn some of yours too.

yep corn hole. fun game. lots of land, land, corn, land. bring hevy coat. it's not always really cold but the wind is brutal especiall if you are standing in valley ish place

ive heard about some of the games their and it just went over my head...but im willing to learn and teach a few of mine as well...thanks for the help and the weather advice. ill be sure to be prepared.
