so being from california what do i need to excpect from indiana?

so i realized that indiana and california is completly different. After all i didnt even know what euche was. However i found out it was a card game...so im a lil caught up. lol So i need to know what else there is to do or games made up. I realized that california is so not indiana and its definetly gonna be a change. So if u can give me some hints and any advice that would be cool.

Hi Katie! My aunt and uncle live in California, so I go out there to visit them every once in a great while. Actually I just got back from California this week. Where in Cali are you from?
The differences between California and Indiana....
In the summer it doesn't get as hot but it is much more humid here.
In the spring and summer it rains A LOT here compared to out west, so bring rain boots!
There is a game called cornhole that we like to play. At my church we have cornhole tournaments.
Indiana is covered with corn fields, bean fields, wheat fields, and some more corn fields lol
The driving here is nothing compared to what its like in Cali. We dont have as many frequent accidents.
I'm sure there is much more differences I can give but that's all that I can think of for right now.

especially on campus, Frisbee Gold (i bet i murdered that spelling...) is huge but im from Illinois so i don't know all of the ins and outs...

ummm.... freezing cold in the winter (bring a good coat!); lots of cows, corn, soy bean fields, etc. haha; idk if there is one of these in Anderson but SKYLINE CHILI!

so here's some highlights of life in the corn fields of Indiana (yes there's obviously a lot in the country but we still have cities too!)....
we call ourselves hoosiers (who knows why? lol). you'll get to experience all four seasons to their fullest! fall in indiana is beautiful! and white christmases are fun too! (unless you're from northern cali?) and get used to the thick humid summer air. just to make a broad statement of the differences in people, from what i've observed ppl take everything a lot slower here than in cali. like ordering food @ fast food places and driving on the interstate two, sometimes three or four lane interstate (but mostly two). and people are less to themselves....and maybe more relaxed and down-to-earth? not bad either way just makin an observation! and instead of going to the ocean we go boating in nearby lakes obviously. i'm sure you'll grow to like it, altho cali is such a wonderful place, it might be hard at first!

im from clovis near fresno...yeah i heard california driving is much worse!! i believe that were always in a rush lol

yea were defenitley rushed in california....im excited to see it snow...ive been around it but the part of california im from it dosent snow at all. i think the last time was lik 91' lol

When my sister went to Anderson she had a friend from Cali and I remember there were a couple different things. One is that when you drive at night you have to watch out for animals like deer that run out in front of your car. Another is that, where I'm from at least, we have Amish. You also have to watch out for them at night too in their horse and buggy. That's all I can really remember right now but I'm sure there are plenty more differences. :)
