hey guys. my names andry and i'm a senior at Rift VAlley Academy, Kenya. its always hard to answer where I'm from but here's the basics: born in Madagascar, lived in Cameroon for 12 years, and am living in Kenya now. gatta love Africa. soccer is THE sport (wanna try at AU), dancing, and having fun and meeting new people. my friends call me crazy and outgoing, so i really don't mind comments. feel free to ask whatever. looking forward to AU.

It might be small, but I love it lol. it's a small farming community.

Well, there's really bad sex traficking there... and there's this house called The Rafa House, and they take rescued girls there and educate them and teach them to do something so that they can eventually go out and get a job. I'm talkin about really little girls all the way up to grown women. It's awful! I wanted to go to that house and help out. And I can't imagine living in a country with over 300 languages! Wow.

At 10:02am on July 31, 2009, Kaitlyn Kimbrough said…: i would love to hear all about it!! and yes, i've wanted to go to Haiti and Cambodia and stuff, but Mom doesnt want me traveling out of the country quite yet, which i understand. and Cambodia is really risky even when i am older. wow, 300 languages! that has to get pretty crazy sometimes. i know a little spanish and french... but probably not enough to have an actual conversation lol.

At 8:58pm on July 29, 2009, Kaitlyn Kimbrough said…: well i always knew that i wanted a career where i could help people, and i feel like this is where God wants me to be... i did this career project for one of my classes, and i just kept coming back to medical social workers. it was like the perfect description of what i wanted to do. so what kind of job would you like to do with your sociology degree? there are so many different opportunities with a degree like that! thats cool. and no, i'm not going to be playing any sports at AU, unless it's just a thing where i play with friends lol. i'm not very sporty... how bout you?
