Hey there! Im Melissa. I live in the tiny town of Chatham, Illinois. Our school is surrounded by corn and farms. :o) I am extremely active, but also love sleeping in. Im the WORSt morning person in the entire world. I had to get my schedule changed so i didnt have an academic class first hour because im completely worthless that early. I officially played volleyball, basketball, soccer, and ran track in high school. but on the side im a pretty mean kickball and ultimate frisbee player. My favorite food by a mile is Swedish Fish. Im pretty sure i could live off of them. When im not running around or sleepin, im listening to music, which is normally oldies but will listen to anything. I like anything from techno to bluegrass. My favorite movies are dumb and dumber, happy gilmore, billy madison, christmas vacation, monty python, now slumdog millionaire. I am extremely active at my church. I teach a little tikes sunday school class, and its probably one of the funniest things ive ever done. I also, on a kind of more serious note, teach a junior high small group. We try to get things accomplished, but with junior high girls, were lucky if we get off of the subject of boys or The Jonas Brothers. I love going on mission trips. Ive gone to Mexico, New York, and just around my neighboring town of Springfield. I rarely ever buy new shoes bc i love my old ones too much. I have about 4 pairs that i constantly wear. They consist of rocket dogs, running shoes, gray new balances, and flip-flops. :o) At Anderson i plan on majoring in exercise science to be a physical therapist and ill be playing basketball for AU!!!!
