At 10:01pm on May 11, 2009, Christine McKnight said…: Oh wow! How was he unprofessional? Our music program used to be really good but its recently gone down the toilet haha. My freshman and sophomore year I was in our shwo choir which was audition only, but then the teacher who had run it for over 15 years just totally quit unexpectedly. I quit after my junior year bc it just got so horrible and I honestly don't regret it either. I had to try out for my dance team too but basically after you make it on your freshman year you are on it for all four years. We qualified for UDA nationals this year and last year, but it was $5000 a dancer to go :( So how do you get in to a performing arts HS?

I do the choreo for the ones we have, although they are certainly on a much smaller scale than yours. We just completed My Fair Lady, and I am starting Beauty and the Beast soon. What musicals have you done? What kind of classes do you take at a school like that?

At 9:34pm on May 10, 2009, Eric Prater said…: haha yea... i thought about studio work too but i'd rather do that in the later half of my career. but yea, self promotion woudl be good for me early on. i just wanna get jump started into that actual performance side as early as i can. so i'm just hoping the busienss aspect helps me udnerstand hwo to do so.... haha
